It’s not every day your job asks you to swap bridal glow for “ghoulish glamour,” but that’s exactly what I had the incredible honor of doing this season.
I was absolutely thrilled to be brought on as the makeup artist for the official models at Milwaukee’s “Revenants: A Vampire Ball,” hosted at the amazing Cooperage. The night promised true “gothic elegance,” and it did not disappoint. My role was to collaborate with the team to create the signature vampiric looks and help bring this dark, romantic vision to life.
The Vibe & The Vision
The energy around this event was electric. The Cooperage, with its industrial-chic vibe, was the perfect backdrop for a night of dark fantasy.
The vision for this was miles away from a simple Halloween costume. This was about capturing a high-fashion, elegant, and slightly menacing vampiric look. We aimed for looks that felt both timelessly gothic and modernly fierce, working closely with the event’s stylists to ensure the makeup elevated the entire concept and transported everyone to another world.
The Grand Reveal
I was absolutely in awe of how the final looks came together. The models did a phenomenal job of embodying their characters, and seeing the makeup paired with the incredible styling was a true “wow” moment.

From Vampires to Vows
What a night! Having the chance to flex my creative muscles for such a unique and high-concept event was an absolute dream.
It’s also a fantastic reminder that makeup artistry is all about transformation.
